LARRY AND LISA'S BABY

Ok, Lets play a guessing game!! When do you think Kaylee will be born and how much will she weigh? I am guessing December 22 and 7 lbs. 11 oz.

    I'm gonna say December 24th and about 71/2 lbs. That'll give us another event to celebrate on Christmas eve.

    Yeah braxton-hicks are normal for 33 weeks, I think babies usually get into the birthing position at about 34 weeks or so or later but am not sure.

    With no assistance from the OB I'm gonna say 12/28 (with a slight chance of 12/22) and 7 lb 4 oz. I'll even throw in that Larry's hair will be standing on end by delivery time and that Lisa won't care if the entire Steelers lineup is in the room looking at her butt through the whole thing. Just some extra guessing at no charge.

    You can call anytime if you want to ask me anything Lisa. I'm not an expert but I'm not a beginner either. Get my number from Liddia if you don't have it.

    The beauty of childbirth isn't all that beautiful when looked at in the cold light of day. That said, when you and Larry get in there and the baby is coming, nothing will matter but that, NOTHING. All else is but a blip on the radar and long gone when all is said and done.

    There are all kinds of things that would be a crisis in every day life that just go along with the whole baby thing. Paul was with me and wouldn't have cared if I had given Regan (from the Exorcist) a run for her money, he'd have still looked back at it fondly.

    Also, there's a long time to get prepared for the end of labor and things you can do to help reduce the possibility of those kinds of incidents. I've been there four times and can honestly say that I really don't know what did or didn't happen as far as that stuff goes. The nurses are experts at making sure things are flowing smoothly. Even if something did happen you probably wouldn't know it yourself, and neither would Larry. You won't care much about anything else when you start pushing and Larry will be feeling like a beast for making you go through the whole thing and then both of you will be so blown away by the munchkin that the whole labor experience will fly right out of your head.

    It's all good.

    Nick was there with both Cole and Shelby, I honestly don't know that nothing else came out when I was pushing, nobody said anything. You are to busy pushing to notice anything else really. Nick to this day is still amazed by the whole thing. He tried to take a photo of my crotch with Shelby's head sticking out, but after I yelled no no no the nurse stepped in and stopped him from doing it. lol He didn't care how bad I looked or body functions were going on he will tell you he never thought I was as beautiful and never loved me as much as when I was giving birth. If you ever want to talk or have questions give me a call too.

    ok first of robin please don't talk about your "crotch"!! Also, I agree that you don't remember much of the pain afterwards, but I know I would remember shitting during pushing! I say starve yourself for at least 3 days prior and you should have nothing to worry about...lol.
