Cemetery Brigade

1. Digging at Grandma Hurley's grave. 2. Kira getting water 3. Kira planting her flower on Mom's grave. 4. The view of Washington from Aunt Vera's grave. 5. The flags in the Veterans Section at Washington Cemetery. Who doesn't remember going all over the cemetery with Grandma decorating the graves!?!

Thanks for doing all that work, you guys! These are great pictures to have. I remember very well going around to all the graves when I was a kid. I love the smell of the pine trees there. It's a really beautiful cemetery. That probably sounds weird but it's true.

The cemetery is pretty. It is kind of a peaceful place. Do you remember that litle tomb that had the little table and chairs in it? Grandma used to say the ghosts came out at night to play cards. And those two tombstones that look like caskets - I absolutely hate them, they give me the creeps.

Yeah, I told Emily that Grandma used to say that. I don't recall the casket tombstones though.

The cemetery was also the first place that Mom took me to practice when I was learning to drive.
